In addition to a variety of illustration techniques I am also trained in the Academic method of classical oil painting. I am a student of nationally recognized portrait painter Frank Covino. I have passed on to my students methods of preparing controlled palettes, underpainting, translucent glazing, etc. as well as tradtional approaches to light and composition.
